At the YMCA of East Tennessee, we make it easy for parents to focus on their health while knowing their children are safe, happy, and engaged. Child Watch offers free, on-site childcare for members while you work out, attend a class, or relax at the Y.

What Is Child Watch?
Child Watch is a supervised playroom where kids can explore, create, and interact under the care of trained YMCA staff. Each visit is filled with age-appropriate activities — from coloring and reading to games and active play — giving children a chance to learn and have fun while parents enjoy peace of mind.

Children may stay for up to 2 hours per day. Visits can be split between morning and evening sessions.
No, we will find a parent or guardian if a child in our care needs a diaper change or assistance in the restroom. We recommend potty breaks before dropping off!
Due to food allergies and choking hazards, please do not send snacks or drinks other than water with your child. Please leave all valuable items including tablets and electronics at home.
