At YMCA Summer Day Camp, every day is an opportunity for kids to explore new interests, build friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime. With themed weeks, field trips, and hands-on activities, camp at the YMCA of East Tennessee combines the best of summer fun with safe, supervised care families can trust.

Summer Day Camp Basics
- Registration: Look for wait list to open on January 4th, 2027 at 12pm for 2027 Summer Day Camp
- Ages: Must have completed kindergarten up to rising 6th graders who are 12 and under.
- Dates & Times: 2027 dates TBD but likely June 1st-July 23rd; 7am-6pm M-F
- Tuition & Fees:
- Full time (4 or 5 days) = $125 per week / $104 per week for Y Members
- Part time (3 or less days) = $99 per week / $87 per week for Y Members
- Rates are subject to change.
- Enrollment Fee = $50 per child
- Due to the limited number of spots available, priority will be given to families needing full time care for all weeks camp is offered.

Themes & Schedules
Every week brings a new theme to spark imagination and fun — from “Splash Week” to “STEM Explorers” and “Adventure Around the World.” Campers are encouraged to participate in theme days, dress-ups, and creative activities that make each week unique.
Summer Day Camp Locations
- 6 locations will be offered across West, North, and Downtown Knoxville locations. 2027 locations are TBD based on availability of Knox Co. Schools.

Our summer day camps are for children who have completed kindergarten through rising sixth graders who are 12 and under.
Camps run 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Yes. Campers should bring a nut-free packed lunch and water bottle each day. The Y provides morning and afternoon snacks daily.
Yes! The YMCA is committed to serving the entire community. Through our financial assistance program, qualified individuals and families are granted financial assistance so Y programs are available for all. Email our Childcare Team at gro.nteacmy@eracdlihc to inquire about financial assistance for Summer Camp.
