The YMCA of East Tennessee is a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that everyone — regardless of age, income, or background — can experience the benefits of Y membership and programs.
Through our Financial Assistance Program, qualifying individuals and families receive reduced rates for memberships, swim lessons, childcare, and other YMCA services. Your financial situation should never stand in the way of your health or your family’s growth.
How It Works
Financial assistance is made possible through generous donations to our Annual Campaign, allowing the YMCA to serve the entire community. Assistance is available year-round for memberships and most YMCA programs.
Eligibility is based on:
- Household income and size
- Special circumstances or financial hardships
- Verification through supporting documentation
Every application is handled with care and confidentiality — because we believe everyone deserves respect and dignity.
